Fresh Faced Sample Haul

With so many amazing products out there, it can sometimes be nice to try a sample before committing to a full-size.  That's why I was so excited to realize that Fresh Faced has started selling samples!  (Or maybe they've always sold them and I just never noticed?)  While doing some late night gift shopping, I decided to pick up a few tiny goodies for myself as well.

Here's what I chose:
Kahina Antioxidant Mask
May Lindstrom The Problem Solver
May Lindstrom The Clean Dirt
Stark Green Tea Mask
Yarok Styling Whip
One Love Organics Vitamin B Cleansing Oil
One Love Organics Vitamin E Eye Balm
One Love Organics Morning Glory Brightening Complexion Booster
One Love Organics Supercritical Chia Oil
Ilia Lipstick in In My Room
Ilia Tinted Lip Conditioner in Nobody's Baby
Vapour Lipstick in Possess

Fresh Faced also generously threw in a few extra samples (not pictured):
Rahua Shampoo & Conditioner
Kahina Eye Serum
Kahina FEZ Body Serum

A lot of new-to-me brands in this pile and I'm excited to get to try everything out.  I've been really into face masks lately, so it'll be fun to test out a couple new ones.  I'm also extra stoked to try the Kahina samples, as I've already fallen hard for their cleanser (more on that very soon!)

Have you used any of these products?  Do you like samples or are you more of a straight-to-the-full-size kind of person?

  1. Samples, samples SAMPLEEEEEEESSSSSS!!! I love sample sizes, it would be all too easy to spend so much on items I didn't end up using. Plus if I like a sample a lot, it convinces me to go for some items I might not have considered otherwise. Look forward to seeing what you think - heard good things about the Clean Dirt especially. :) x

    1. Agree completely! Especially for more expensive items...I have a hard time deciding something is worth splurging on if I haven't tried it first :)

  2. Wow, what a fab selection! I love samples, in fact think I might be a sample hoarder haha! Would love to hear how you get on with the eye gel - I'm on a bit of a mission with that one :-) Also, the styling whip - take it that it's for your hair? ox

    1. I might be getting close to the sample hoarder point too! Yup, the styling whip is for hair. I really like Yarok's mousse, but I was curious if this would have a little more hold to it. That said, now that I have it, I'm not really sure how to use a whipped product like this on long hair, haha :) I'll definitely report back once I've given everything a good try!

  6. hello ,

I like samples but I actually do not buy/have a lot. The reason is that try to no waste any beauty products I have (unless the product really dont fit to my skin)...:-)

    1. I find that samples help me waste less, since they let you figure out if a product works for you before you commit to the full size.

  8. I think samples are an awesome way to figure out what colors look good on each individual, which is why I really love samples to try before buying the more expensive full sized version. I can't wait to read what you think about the One Love Organics and your opinion on the Ilia lip colors :)

  9. Hi! I just discovered your blog and really like it! I'm a Canadian gal too and enjoy discovering new natural makeup companies, especially Canadian ones. :) I also love getting samples and trying out samples because it helps me decide what colour is right for me before buying a full-size product. I actually am waiting for some samples from Pure Anada and LoriannZ to arrive in the mail!
