#WishlistWednesday: New Green Beauty Launches (Fall-Winter 2019)

I’ve been at home with a bad cold for much of the last week, leaving me with plenty of time to online window shop and catch up on new releases in the green beauty world.  The industry has exploded since I last did one of these posts, which means there are far too many launches to make this anywhere near all-inclusive. Instead, I’ve gathered the top few releases that have caught my eye, both this past week and over the last few months.

P/Y/T Beauty Glam Glitter Gels
I’m a sucker for shimmery eye shadow and these glitter gels, which also double as highlighters, look just gorgeous!  Even better, they’re formulated with only minerals, which means no microplastics or synthetic glitter to cause problems for marine life when they're inevitably washed down the drain.

Consonant Vitamin Serums
Consonant’s Maximum Glycolic Meta Serum is one of my all-time favourite skincare products, so when the brand released two new vitamin serums, I was pretty excited!  I’ve got my eye on the Vitamin B3 + Zinc, a water-based serum that targets congestion, blemishes, uneven skin tone, sebum production, and improved skin barrier function, but the Vitamin E + Oat, a simple oil blend intended to soothe and moisturize sensitive skin, also sounds nice.

I've enjoyed Mad Hippie’s original Face Cream and their Vitamin C Serum is another favourite, so this new night cream, which sounds like an extension of the two, immediately caught my eye.  Like always, Mad Hippie has packed the Triple C Cream with plenty of active ingredients: 3 forms of stable bioavailable vitamin C, plus hyaluronic acid, sodium PCA, ceramides, turmeric, cloudberry, reishi and chaga mushrooms and more!

Ilia The Necessary Eyeshadow Palettes
I love quads and smaller eye palettes and Ilia’s new talc and silcone-free six pan palettes look so pretty!  I'm gravitating towards the purples and taupes of the Cool Nude palette, surprisingly, but the Warm Nude's mix of golds and warmer tones is undeniably beautiful too.

Luna Nectar Neptune Hydrate & Blur Serum
While Neptune’s vibrant blue colour is what first caught my eye in one of the Choosy Chick's newsletters, the ingredient deck is what ultimately held my interest. (And its affordable price point didn't hurt either!)  Made with vegan hyaluronic acid, helichrysum and green tea hydrosols, and infused with butterfly pea flowers, this simple serum promises hydration, antioxidant protection, and anti-inflammatory benefits, plus a matte, blurred look for skin.

Boosh Lip Gloss
Boosh, a smaller Canadian brand becoming known for their fantastic dye-free lipsticks, recently expanded into the world of lip glosses, and I’m so here for them!  The glosses are available in a multitude of shades, promising sheer colour in a hydrating formula.

Gold-infused skincare usually strikes me as more of a gimmick than anything else, but I’ve heard phenomenal things about the original Kiwi Seed Oil Eye Cream over the years, and the added luminosity in this version, which comes from real 23K gold flakes, seems to just boost an already great product up another notch.  I’m definitely intrigued!

Grounded Sage makes some of my all-time favourite cleansers, so I’m very curious about the two new micellar waters that launched earlier this month.  Both are no-rinse, soap-free cleansers that can be used to remove makeup and for a quick morning cleanse or post-gym refresher. Grounded Sage’s clarifying products work really well for me, so the Acne Clarifying Cleansing Water with white willow bark and probiotics is moreso calling my name, but the Soothing Cleansing Water, made with sea salt and calendula, looks great too.

Flower and Spice Beauty Masquerade Customizable Clay Treatment
Unlike the rest, this one hasn’t officially launched yet, but it’s coming very soon and sounds wonderful.  A dry mask that’s easily customized by what you mix it with, the Beauty Masquerade features superstar ingredients like rhassoul and white kaolin clay, hibiscus, turmeric, and panax ginseng, and promises to gently remove impurities to reveal a balanced and glowing complexion. If it's anything like the rest of Flower and Spice's line, you know it's going to be good!

Kosas Wet Lip Oil Gloss
My lips are constantly dry in the winter, so this new hybrid lip treatment and gloss sounds like just what I need.  The non-sticky formula is a step beyond a standard oil/butter-based gloss and includes hyaluronic acid and peptides to hydrate, plump, and protect the lips.  Going by the promo photos, the colours are sheer but pretty, and pack a serious glossy punch too!

100% Pure Multi-Vitamin + Antioxidants PM Eye Treatment
I'm always on the hunt for great eye products, so I can't help doubling up in this list too! The PM Eye Treatment, an extension of 100% Pure’s Multi-Vitamin line, features retinol, coenzyme Q10, and vitamins C, E, and D3. It’s a rich, waterless treatment that promises to brighten the eye area, promote collagen production, and reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles.

I’ve yet to try any Neal’s Yard skincare, but the new Sensitive Collection, which features hyaluronic acid and both oat oil and oat extract, looks really lovely.  The line is formulated to enhance the skin’s natural barrier function and to reduce transdermal water loss, and includes a micellar cleanser, serum, and moisturizer.  (If you’re in Canada, I believe the company is still sending out free samples of the serum and moisturizer here.)

I like to keep a creamy cleanser in rotation and the new Soothe Cleanser from Akar sounds right up my alley.  Made for normal, dry, and sensitive skin, the cream formula includes nourishing sunflower, olive, and sea buckthorn oils, cleansing saponins from yucca root, and pumpkin and cranberry enzymes to gently exfoliate away dead skin cells. The scent, a blend of citrus, lavender, and benzoin also sounds extra beautiful.

Have you tried any of these? What new product launches have caught your attention recently?
